Cleaning up the Waste: Sustainability in the Petrochemical and Refining World
In this ever-changing world, the younger generation is heavily involved in the environment and ensuring a greener future. Studies show that plastics are a huge concern to our oceans and we are drowning in plastic waste. Due to this concern plastic straws have been banned in some cities, which eventually could reduce plastic manufacturing. The big question is who is socially responsible for plastic waste? And what are the solutions available? This session will explore:
• Bridging the gap between big corporations and the public awareness
• Educating the masses in proper disposal and recycling habits
• Improvements to sustain longevity in plastic manufacturing
