Bringing Diversity and Inclusion to the Industry
Today petrochemical and refining manufacturers are aware of the importance of creating diversity within their companies. To create good chemistry, you need great chemistry between people. The global market is extremely competitive and volatile therefore, to prosper the industry needs a mix of talents. This session will delve into:
• How diversity can offer a company new perspectives and ideas
• Reviewing the recruitment process and marketing design to encourage a culture shift
• What are the challenges and how can you overcome these?


Speaker Bio
Vince Stutts is native of Mobile, AL. He received his education via Tuskegee University (BS Mechanical Engineering), William Carey University (MBA) and Villanova University (Supply Chain Management Certification). Vince began his DuPont career at the Starke, FL site in 1999 after a two year career at NASAs Stennis Space Center, as a rocket propulsion engineer. In his 20 year career at DuPont, Vince has served as a Maintenance Supervisor, Six Sigma Black Belt, Production Manager, Production/Maintenance Unit Manager and Plant Manager – in manufacturing facilities in Florida, Mississippi, New Jersey and Delaware. In 2015, he relocated from Deepwater, NJ, to Newark, DE, to become the Plant Manager of the Tralee Park site in Transportation and Advanced Polymers business.
